How do I make an appointment for my pet’s lab tests or diagnostic ultrasound?

You can schedule an appointment here at a time that works best for you. During registration, you’ll be asked to:

-Complete a short registration form

-Prepay for the diagnostics you select (blood panel, abdominal ultrasound, or cardiac ultrasound)

-Upload your pet’s medical history

Where do I go for my appointment?

At this time, all PALS appointments are held in San Ramon, CA. Once your appointment is confirmed, you’ll receive detailed instructions about the location and check-in process. Current Location: 2000 Bishop Drive San Ramon, CA ,94583. PALS is located inside Pet Care Depot—look for the seating area with purple pillows marked “PALS Check-In.”

How do I reach a PALS team member with questions?

We’re here to help! To keep PALS lab services affordable, we currently respond to inquiries only through our online form. Simply complete the form, and a PALS team member will get back to you within 24 hours.

What are the hours of availability for this service?

PALS is an on-demand service—our hours are based on when appointments are scheduled. You can click here to book your pet’s appointment at a time that works best for you. Our goal is to expand availability to support appointments 7 days a week.

What if the lab results show something serious with my pet?

If your pet’s test results indicate a serious or potentially life-threatening condition, a PALS team member will contact you right away using the phone number and email address you provided. We’ll confirm whether your pet has a regular veterinarian and that you plan to take them in for an urgent recheck. If you do not have a regular veterinarian, the PALS team will assist you in scheduling an appointment immediately so your pet can be examined and their lab results fully reviewed.

What laboratories are used for diagnostics?

At this time, all bloodwork and parasite screenings (such as fecal tests) are processed through IDEXX Veterinary Laboratories.

When can I expect my pet’s results? Samples are submitted to the laboratory several times each day. Most results are emailed to you within 24 hours or less of collection.
